Season 5b is actually bad television though and not just in the shitposting sense. It got legitimately bad, like on the level of The Walking Dead or Game Of Thones. It was on a downward slide for the last couple of seasons but 5a was when it crossed the threshold from "good" to "bad" then by the time 5b happened the show was an outright embarrassment.
I was so upset by how bad 5a was that I actually tried to kill myself after the season finale. I was so invested in the show, it was the only thing I still cared about in life, then it was nothing but shit.
Season 5b was even worse but I was too disenfranchised by the show to even care at that point. I just watched it out of obligation to see how it wrapped up.
Watching the first 2 seasons of Breaking Bad was the happiest I have ever been.
