Since when and why did women dropped the title "actress"? Why are women now called actors instead of actresses?
Because its easier to say.
Because they are people who act. There is no reason for the differentiation.
>mfw americans are too dumb to have a masculine and femine words for professions
>mfw their words don't have genres in general

She quit from porn altogether. Tweeted regretting it and deleted her account.

For the same reason you rarely see "comedienne" or "aviatrix" used anymore. It's just fallen out of fashion. Gendered forms aren't really native to English, they're a product of French dominance of the English court 1000 years ago, and they were only ever partially applied by common folk.

Are you a mind reader? What if someone says: I have an actor friend; the actor has arrived; give this to the actor, etc. You'll then have to waste more energy by having to ask to be more specific. Check mate

>Are you a mind reader?
Yes.
And yes, it's okay to come out to your parents. It will be fine.
Its part of the egalitarian progressivist revolution
I'm vehemently against anything remotely sjw, but I can concede that the differentiation is unnecessary.
And inconsistant. We call female authors 'author' so we might as well call female actors 'actor'.

You don't call a woman who paints a "paintress"

it's really funny because in germany, a major part of the whole equality business, and one that is made fun of a lot, is that you have to give the male and female (often the reverse order, thus even prioritizing the female one) version of everything. imagine reading "dear readresses and readers..." etc. everywhere you look.
so i wonder why anglophone SJWs don't enforce the same thing at least in those cases where the language allows it (as with actress, seeing how actOR is etymologically male)

All part of the modern SJW "movements," brah.

Really? I call them authoresses. I call female librarians librarianesses. I call my girlfriend a lazy slut who's gotta go fetch me a beer fast before the refrigerator ceases to work because of my unpaid electrical bills. When I get evicted from my home and go to the nearest homeless shelter and the workers are women I rape them before they get to judge me.
