Zootopia is the best animated movie ever.
Provide one fucking argument against that sweet, sweet piece of cinema.
I haven't seen it
>>66807115
Shrek exists
Toy story too
>Zootopia is the best animated movie ever.
dead. fucking. wrong
>>66807115
Akira exists.
As does Iron Giant.
>>66807115
>Provide one fucking argument
Here you go.
>>66807221
>a movie that blatantly recycled animation from The Jungle Book
>the best animated movie ever
furries everybody
>>66807154
drinking the Shrek meme. I mean, I love it, but I would watch Zootopia more.
>>66807162
Every joke is fucking hilarious to adults and children alike. The plot subtly has relevant social issues without preaching. What more do you want?
>>66807221
implying Robin Hood is fun
>>66807115
>Provide one fucking argument against that sweet, sweet piece of cinema.
The hot bunny doesn't have a striptease scene followed by a hardcore sex scene.
Lion King
>>66807377
>generic reasoning
>must be BEST ANIMATION OF ALL TIME
you have shit taste
>>66807115
I didnt see but I also dont get the response for it.
>its for furries
>its about immingrants
>its sjw propaganda
well wtf is it? and is being praised as the next Frozen even really a compliment?
>>66807531
maybe it's all those things at the same time
>>66807265
This, you can't fuck with Fantasia. It's simultaneously beautiful and classic.
>>66807531
it's done better than Frozen so far and is not a music-based Disney movie.
>>66807152
This. It's trash.
>>66807115
just watched it. really disappointed in it. There weren't nearly as many animal puns as I was hoping for and the film was just happy love proganada schlock. Every animal movie that has come before it was better.
Took my girlfriend to go see it so I could have an unbiased opinion on if pol is actually gething to me or not. She didn't know anything about it going in, she's not a channer or that racist, but she's a realist. 15 minutes in she looks at me and goes "you took me to a God damn sjw agenda movie, didn't you".
So yeah, movie is shit propaganda
>>66807854
Who is this guy? Is he from YouTube? I recognise him.
>>66808009
Is it the "don't be rascist" theme?
>>66808184
Yeah, she thought it was a little heavy handed in some areas and way over the top in others.
>>66808147
Olan Rogers. From Ballonshop. Thee best comedy trio from YouTube from the early days. Thomas Gore forever/
>>66808298
>>66808009
lol have fun being superfluously racist when you're old and having everyone tell you and your gf what a shithead you can be
Does the fox make that smug face the whole movie?
>>66808509
Yeah it's great
>>66808672
For real? I think it would get annoying
>>66808769
Mot true. He loses the facade about halfway in.
>>66808769
Nah smug fox was probably the best part. Movie really shined when it just focused on the buddy cop aspect.
>>66808509
there's a bit near the end where you'll be so psyched that he makes a smug face, and it's the smuggiest face he makes in the movie yet.
I fucking loved it but I wouldn't go so far as to say it's the best.
The starting exposition info dump in the talent show scene is clumsy as fuck. I get that they're trying to get everything out of the way so they can start the real movie, but it just felt like it was a few drafts away from where it needed to be and the kids sounded way too precocious.
The main villain was too obvious. I called it by the time we saw the assistant mayor office, and was disappointed when I was ultimately proven right.
The ending was too clean. The crisis made everyone in Zootopia distrust each other. There should still be lingering undercurrents of that at the end. It's a serious wound to that society. There should be a scar.
>>66808298
I thought it mostly knew when to be heavy-handed and when to be more nuanced.
>>66807115
CGI shit
>>66809428
The evolutionary thing needed to be established early on and probably would have been clumsy exposition no matter what, so at least it was delivered in a fun way. The ending doesn't suggest everything's hunky dory, just that upper management's been shaken up for the better.
I agree about the villain, but eh. Who else could it have been?
>>66809740
It was a great choice of villain, I just wish they'd tried a little harder to obscure it.
