It was okay. I think it'd work best as a double-feature for the jump scare horror movies that came out around the same time. Like Insidious, The Conjuring or that Evil Dead remake.

I liked it a lot, it was pretty atmospheric and spooky,the lawnmower bit is the best scare and the ending is greatit might not be the best but its pretty good for modern, more mainstream horror

Movie was a 9/10 until the spoopy slo mo kids show up, where it nose dives to about a 2/10. One of the biggest drops in quality mid movie for any movie, ever. The fucking lawnmower movie was one of the few good jump scares ever captured on film, though.
The murder films were all really good and the plot was interesting but as soon as they started talking about BAH-GOOL it fell apart.
It has a fucking GOAT soundtrack though: Ulver, Boards of Canada, Sunn O)))
All the nu-horror films start out strong but then end stupidly.
Insidious was fucking amazing until they showed Darth Maul and went into the ghost world where it basically became a comedy movie
