I feel like there's been two huge Stargate threads this week already and it's pointless to make another one for a few days.
Sad knowing it's over and mad over SyFy cancelling SGU just as it became really good.
Is SG-1 the only show made where if you've watched most of it nobody have anything but good to say about it? You rarely ever see someone dislike it if they've watched it.

They really misplaced their priority, interesting things advance at snail pace and stupid shit takes spotlight. It got better after a while, if you survive the beginning.

It's a show that took dramatic approach and it's not really what Stargate is about. And drama was so forced, it was really unbelievable. Imagining Icarus being a place where washouts are dumped at was the only way to make it make sense.
Once we get past this awkward "we want BSG audience" phase it got pretty interesting, but it was a long way down.

It has some good episodes and good ideas. But it took too long to get good. If it had another season I think it would have been received better overall.

Bittersweet happiness. I loved the show so much, have every season, but the knowledge that I can never rewatch the series for the first time sucks. No more adventures. I loved this damn show.
