Forever Agent Jeffries in my heart of hearts
>>
He's shit all around.
He only has a cult following because it's cool to like him since he's a giant faggot.
>>
>>66557640
wonder if he actually filmed anything for new twin peaks before his death?

David Bowie was a mediocre songwriter and mediocre lyric writer, whose only claim to fame was that he was exceptionally-handsome in an "otherworldly" manner. In essence, he helped largely to bring about the "visual" side of popular music, which started the downward-slide of the quality of music in general. The results today, speak for themselves.

David Bowie is part of the cancer that destroyed music.
>>
Man who fell to Earth was a pretty shitty movie t.b.h

But he's still cool.
>>
>>66557689
You and me both. Guess we'll only know in 2017.

Been hearing a lot of rumours about who might have filmed something for the new Twin Peaks before their deaths. Don't actually know if any of them is true.

It's a shame Jeffries's "spinoff" series didn't work out.
>>
>>66557640
>implying we're not gonna talk about Judy

Lynch better had filmed his scenes first.

You anon(s) disappointed that Sheriff Truman isn't coming back? (Won't even ask about Lara Flynn Boyle, because aside from the shit she pulled, Donna was always boring anyway).

David Bowie the "actor" wouldn't exist, if it weren't for suckers giving money to David Bowie the "musician".

Thanks for playing. Insert coin to continue.

I like how his In Memoriam card featured Zoolander instead of Labyrinth or TMWFTE.
>>
>>66558130
Yeah I was at first. then I thought well Lynch is one of those less-you-give-him-better-he-works kind of directors. So he'll come up with something cool.

My guess is that the town of Twin Peaks won't even figure all that heavily.

I was really disappointment when I found out its being shot i digital though.

It is? Didn't know that. Didn't Lynch actually ranted about how digital filming was killing cinema, and that he'd stop making movies if it meant going digital?
Granted, we're not talking about a movie, but still.

totally gutted!

truman and coopers chemistry was one of the best things about the series.
from what ive gathered from the rumour mill, truman has been recast and im not sure how much the town of twin peaks actually plays in the revival. not as much as the original, from what i gather.

but.....

if anyone can pull this off, its david lynch and im very optimistic!
>>
David is actually very good in Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence and The Man Who Fell To Earth

My guess is that he decided to use the HBO budget for more episodes, rather than go back to film.

As other anons were saying, though, it's Lnych. We're in good hands, lads.

>>
>>66557555
I didn't even recognize him in the Prestige until someone on /tv/ said it
So that's probably a good thing
>>
>>66559869
He was really good in that.
>>
>>66559774
I know he dropped out, my comment was that he hasn't been confirmed to being RECASTED.
>>
>>66561162
Yeah I doubt he's been re-cast.
>>
>>66561225
they recast Donna
>>
I would literally sell my soul to live as Bowie getting to fuck JenCon in her prime and instantly skip into the future when I'm dead as soon as I cum

>LYNCH

No one misses that weirdo.
>>
>>66557689
Zoolander 2?
>>
>>66561249
Nobody gave as much of a shit about Donna than they did Truman. And She had to be in that movie. Truman doesn't have to be in the revival. They can make his absence apart of the story.
>>
>>66559375
Not that anon you were replying to, but he did say he thought digital sucked sometime after Inland Empire came out.

The gist of it was:

"I TELL YA *shaky hands shaky hands* FILM IS MAGICAL something something FILM IS ALIVE *shaky hands shaky hands*. BEAUTIFUL".

Lynch can change his mind though. Bless him.
>>
>>66561430
not him
but I am a HUGE David Lynch fan, and he never said nothing of the sort. He said that while they were rescanning the negatives for Mulholland Drive criterion release, he forgot how beautiful film could be.
>>
>>66561430
Actually the full quote was:

IT (film) GOES INSIDE THE THING AND AROUND THEN IT COMES BACK OVER. IT LOOPS ON ITSELF. IT HOVERS THERE. IT GLIDES AWAY. IT FLOATS. YOU CAN SMELL ITS EYE.
