The Juarez scenes with the cops in truck beds with machine guns is real life. They drive around in those daily, I was there a month getting my immigration paperwork processed and people do die a shit load. Make weed legal everywhere and you'll have less crime (at least for a while) at the borders. Once you try weed from the lab/clinic, you won't ever go back to illegal weed. Looking back, I made stupid choices during my stay. I went out at night, walked a couple blocks, and crossed a busy street/roadway for some of the best burgers I ever tasted. I did this several times during my stay. I left the fenced-in compound with security for burgers.
