Do you honestly think it's a masterpiece Darby? Or are you just baiting and you thought it was acceptable mediocrity
>>
>>66532380

Blunt was hot, wonky almost time travel shenanigans, the scene with the guy being cut into pieces was disturbing, JGL looked like a tranny, Rainmaker movie when?
>>

One of those you forget about a week after you see it, then rewatch a couple of years later and go "hey I forgot this was really good".
>>
>>66532380
My thoughts? If it was the first and only film I ever saw and I was suffering from severe mental retardation, I'd think it's a masterpiece too.
>>
>>66532380
shit
>>
Fun movie
>>
>>66532380
This poster foreshadows the ending really subtly
>>
>>66532483
The most memorable scene was the guy being cut to pieces, probably the best scene in the film.

>tolerating that normiecore show

And also the worst. I mean most blatant ignoring of a paradox a movie has ever displayed and they showcased ir proudly
>>
So Bruce Willis' version of the character kills himself when sent back, and when he gets sent back he decides to fight back. Which has already broken the timeline because he didn't fight back, so he wouldn't have been in the same situation to be captured 20 years in the future, which means he wouldn't be sent back to fight himself which means if he ever was sent back, he'd just be killed.

And that's the major problem in just the first 10 minutes.
>>
>>66534908
what? when does bruce willis kill himself?
>>
>>66532380
He should have let Bruce Willis kill that stupid kid
>>
People got so caught up with nitpicking plot holes when time travel was just a fucking plot device to further the story along. I don't know why time travel brings out more obsessives who claim a movie is bad because of "muh plot holes" as if that's the most important thing about it then anything else, but it makes discussion insufferable.

The characters in the fucking story state they don't know how the time travel rules really work, I don't know how much clearer the script has to be that this is a story with time travel in it and not a Time Travel Movie.
>>
>>66532380
It's like a 6, 6.5 at most.
>>
>>66534986
When he was Joseph Gordon Levitt
>>
>>66535007
Bruce Willis never would have successfully killed that kid, he would have killed the kids mom and the kid goes hiding in the words to grow up to be an angry vengeful man.

That was literally the entire point of the story, how did you miss that?
>>
>>66532380
I actually didn't like it very much. I'm not even sure why. Maybe it deserves another viewing.

>Remember reading an article about how the writers were going to go really in depth to explain the time travel physics in the movie with the most up to date quantum theory
>mild hype and actually go to see it in theaters
>it had kiddy time travel physics that made no sense
>mfw Bruce Willis tells the audience not to think about it and that their explanation
>>
>>66532380
JGL had bad makeup
>>
>>66535300

Masterpieces don't fall apart half way through their run time. That Rainmaker storyline and all the time spent on the farm was dumb as hell.
