Also, it was pretty unbelievable how the people in Legolas's village didn't know anything about irrigation or wells.
The bishop of Jerusalem was actually instrumental in brokering a truce and allowing the inhabitants of the city to leave peacefully. Of course, Scott makes him a dick and a weasel because gotta get in some good old Catholic bashing.

Prometheus could be saved with a director's cut. Exodus and Martian were pretty mediocre movies.
Exodus has a lot of issues with pacing and the fact that Rameses' mtoviations were all over the shop and it could theoretically be a better movie than it is with a bit of reworking but it could never be great.
Martian is what it is and probably won't be anything better.
