This is a movie that shows batmans lowest point. Hes beaten to a pulp by Bane and has his back broken.
And not a single drop of blood is spilled in the entire fight. Batman doesnt even have a single bruise on him when hes laying there comatose.

In all honesty?
I think after Dark Knight and the death of Ledger, Nolan was burned out on Batman and just wanted to make "his" movies so he rushed trough Rises on the days he wasn't using it as an expensive technical exercise and then talked big to cover up his sloppiness.
