I love this movie, it's a decent pleb filter, I find, too (boring is not a criticism of a film). Sadly, I really can't think of anything else like it. Beyond the Black Rainbow maybe?
The cinematography was gorgeous, but nothing fucking happened. I'd get more entertainment watching a documentary on the weather.

I think it was the first "slow cinema" I'd ever seen and really loved it at the time. Watching it years later and I'd agree with others that something is missing from it.

My other point was that if you want to criticize a movie, especially for boring you, then pacing is the thing to comment on, as it is an important part of any movie. It is a valid thing to critique in a movie as opposed to calling it boring
