I don't want it to be true, but I'd bet money it's something like that. Looking at this movie, there's no way she's not related to the Skywalkers in some way. Even though it would probably be better if she wasn't, that's not something they can resist.
So the only two options are she's Luke's kid or another of Han and Leia's. Since it's not even hinted at cannon that Luke has a romantic relationship of any sort, it makes that less likely because at this point they'd really have to shoehorn in where and when he had a kid.
That pretty much leaves Han and Leia. It would make sense they may want to try and protect her from Kylo the way Luke and Leia were protected from Vader. It also explains even more her mechanical aptitude and the way Han treats and acts towards her.
Like I say, I think it's pretty stupid. I thought the whole movie was pretty stupid. But at this point I'd put money on her being Han's daughter.

The scene where Finn says "are you okay?" and Rey says "yeah" is shot as a comic moment. But nobody in my theatre laughed, because there was nothing actually dumb about asking that. Same when Rey takes Finn's hand instead of vice versa. It's an attempt at a "turnabout" moment of gender politics that doesn't work at all, because we care about both characters as people and not as archetypes.
Other examples: man not being able to find the correct piece of equipment ("the one I'm pointing to!"), and Han saying "women are smart" as a line of dialogue. Not even coded.
