Civil War on the other hand is looking like more of a crowded mess then BvS contrary to what everyone wants you to believe and seemingly has a lot of ground to cover. Plus with the disappointment that was Avengers 2 I doubt much people are excited for it as they should. Either way, it's the same director, and if Zack Snyder thought it was a good idea to include an exposition dump about Superman's origins from his computer dad after we just spent the first 20 minutes of the movie literally watching his origins play out, then I have zero confidence in him.

It'll be good (not groundbreaking) but critics will never give it a chance. They've already decided since Man of Steel, if not 300. I'll be surprised if it breaks 80% RT.
They'll address every single major complaint from Man of Steel. Superman will do ridiculously heroic shit. They'll address the fallout from the metropolis fight. The movie will be straightforward, no allusions or metaphors. It will feel very safe and focus group tested.
At worst the score and action scenes will be the best ever in a super hero movie, unless we're talking practical effects.
People will talk the most about Wonderwoman after the movie is out. Fans have already wrote off this version of Lex despite how well Eisenberg actually performs in the movie.

I enjoyed Man of Steel a lot. I didn't mind the large amount of building destruction, and I am not a comic book fan so the serious tone worked well enough for me. There were flaws, like the romance aspect not really that convincing, and Keven Costner's death being so incredibly dumb and unnecessary.
So I was excited enough when it was announced this new one is coming out, even with an Affleck Batman. But then I saw the trailer and looks really uninteresting and more or less an excuse to pool in all the DC characters into one movie; playing the Marvel strategy. Jesse as the Lex Luthor was also really unconvincing in that trailer. So no I am not excited to see this.

The trailers have revealed too much. We know about Doomsday, we know how WW gets introduced, etc.
At this point I don't even know if they're actually going to have any good fights between Bats and Supes, Batman just doesn't seem very intimidating in this. In the comics/cartoons there have actually been times where Bats can stand up to Supes (kryptonite, among other things). But I don't think this is really going to have a good fight.
And everything we've seen of the trailers makes the writing look like shit.
