Saw with my pa as well. It's really snowy where we're at so that made it fun. I'd say it's more like a play that a movie, nothing wrong with that. It's 95% talking and 5% action. Just see for yourself and fuck everyone including my opinion.

His voice is rushed - he has ADHD or something and rushes his words without pronouncing things correctly. He has like 10 words and must really quickly say them before he forgets and moves on to something else.
He should use his stomach to talk. Literally when you're exhaling air out in speech or song there are 2 things affecting your voice, use the diaphragm muscle at the bottom of your lungs to control air and use your jaw to pronounce the words as the air comes out in a controlled way.
I used to have the cringiest voice, high pitched, nasally, rushed, lispy, I had spoken like this since I was a brat of a kid and nobody corrected me, my face muscles couldn't even say some words and I had to really practice as an adult. Same happened to Tarantino.
