I think it might be ending this year or next, not really sure, I just know the director stated he doesn't want to drag out Daniel's story and run it into the ground.
I'm dreading for it to suddenly become popular in its finale season like with what happened to Breaking Bad then I just remember that Rectify is too slow paced for people who enjoy that show. I won't go so far as to say The Pacific's combat scenes were better, but I think I enjoyed them more than the other two. It's not as good overall though. Everything non-combat in it was less compelling.

That's probably due to the nature of the wars. There seemed to be a lot more at stake during WWII. Whereas the Iraq war was a bit of a sham. Somehow "chasing hajis" just doesn't match up. However, the subject matter certainly speaks more to this generation, impotent as its impetus may be.
