ROTS is painted in broad brush strokes. It is played out a mammoth stage by actors with megaphones. It is big and bold. It is outrageously epic geographically and emotionally. The symbolism is grand too and because it is in keeping with the story's sweep it does not unbalance the story.
On the scene, at the Opera House, the Mon Calamari put on a show where sperm-like ribbons float in and out of a massive watery egg. The discussion between Sheev and Anakin about the creation of life cements the visual message.

George Lucas uses the language of Christian heritage, words already resonant with meaning, as stepping stones to a greater understanding. In this way he subtly illuminates for us the roles, the motivations and the size of what is at stake.

Ian McDairmid's great in all the Star Wars movies. I find myself grinning every time he's on screen. Yoda's the same in the OT, but he's a little lacking in the prequels.

That lightsaber duel perfectly captures what is wrong with the prequels. Even leaving aside how fucking retarded it looked, we should never see Yoda take out a lightsaber. His character should be above that sort of thing. At least it was handled marginally better with Sheev because seconds after the reveal, he just mows down Jedi Council members like butter with simple thrusts. He does that corkscrew jump but at least it doesn't look as monumentally stupid as Yoda taking out his 2 foot long lightsaber. God I hate the prequels

Not everyone hated the prequels, only Phantom menace was a disappointment for me because I expected something extremely amazing but got lame cis robots and gungans in a lame as fuck battle.
Clone wars helped improve things with based Christopher Lee, Fett and clones.
Revenge of the Sith is my current favorite Star wars movies, best looking clones, best jedi battles, and was extremely enjoyable. Man clone phase 2 armor was so fucking sexy, takes both the best from both phase 1 clone armor and storm trooper armor.
