Original soundtracks? Probably not. Nyman and Morricone are up there though.

Well, it is Clint Mansell who's making the soundtrack for this.
No, there isn't.
Literally my favorite movie, largely for that reason. Audio/visual masterpiece and one of the greatest accomplishments in filmmaking, ever.
Part of the genius of the soundtrack is that, not all of the noise is a soundtrack. A lot of the synth noises are sound effects produced by the pyramid, and the soundtrack is designed to be in the same key and play off of the sounds of the film to create a hypnotic setting.

It's not really contrarian to hate on BtBR, just extremely normal. People don't like things that are different and while I think that's extremely gay it's also very understandable. People want all movies to be generally the same, work in the same way, have similar aspects, end in the same way, etc.
The movie Dodgeball, the comedy with vaughn and stiller, that one. There's an alternative ending where the Average Joes just lose. Vaughn gets hit in the face by a dodgeball at the tournament, the announcers are all "What the Average Joes have lost!!! They got so far!" and everyone on the team looks depressed and sad and then it moves to credits. Shit like that can't make it through production, but it would have turned that movie from a stupid comedy to an experimental legend.
