There's a few theaters by me that do this, and it's funny because if you're gonna buy food at a regular theater it actually ends up being about the same unless you're gonna get hammered or something. Wouldn't do it every time, but I've gone a few times and it's okay for every once in awhile... it's weird to get waited on in the movies to me though.
We also have a much bigger screen and badass seating.

The one by me is idk maybe 20 seats across and the screen is fuckhuge. I actually thought it was ridiculously huge when I first saw it and didn't think they could fill all the seats, but they have every time I've been there.

There are plenty that do this, and with larger screens and recliners.
I went to one to see Star Wars.
They had house made chili con queso that was delcious, and the same fucking price as 'chos at a normal theater, like $5.
They also had beer and cocktails. Being in Colorado, they had literally 30 types of local beer. And decently priced, about the same price as a fucking medium soda, cheaper than a large soda. $4.75 for a true pint of delicious, local beer that is over 6%abv.
All server brought. Since I go out to movies so much less now, this is a more worthwhile way to do it.
