Jesus Christ. I liked the show for the most part, but one of its weaknesses was that Fuller couldn't let his characters go when it made sense which often resulted in some really bad shit like all Alana/Abigail/Gideon scenes. Will himself really wasn't *that* interesting and his character was pretty much fully explored by the end of S2, which was already stretching it. S3 even more so, so it's fucking unbelievable that he wanted to waste ANOTHER season on him.

I think Fuller at some point forgot how it was best to leave a lot of this shit to the imagination and that having flashbacks for shit that went on with both Gideon, Abigail and fucking Bedelia in the past was stupid as shit.
Like for example I always liked how it was a bit unclear just what had happened to Bedelia's patient which added a bit of mystery to their relationship and how involved she had been. But then they just show that it was just Spock freaking out while she shoved her hand down his throat. gg
