Levels of intolerance
1. Tolerate the camera being seen on the reflective surface
2. shadow of camera men being cast on the character
3. Shadow of the camera men on the ground
4. Camera being reflected in the eyes of the character
5. Water ripples caused by the camera men
6. Splash caused water drops to stay on a plane of glass before the camera
7. Characters make ways and rooms for the camera
8. During the movement it's revealed that the camera crew needs a place to stand
And other levels or instances please
>>
i think my brain just filters it out or something because i've never noticed a visible camera crew
>>
>5. Water ripples caused by the camera men
I think it's hard to avoid

Very tolerant of the camera. So much so I wish it would come back into cinema!
>>
I hardly ever notice. It has to be Friday the 13th Part 3 level bad for it to even register.

>6. Splash caused water drops to stay on a plane of glass before the camera
Isn't that usually an artistic choice rather than an error these days?

That shit is annoying but sometimes it's necessary.

The worst stuff are lazy things.
Like using the same fucking stock sound effect as everyone.
Like that fucking laughing children soundbite, or the rusty door one that even Half-Life uses.
Fuck you.

Also, when characters drink from a can or something, and you can clearly see that it's an empty can.
Would it kill you to fill it with water?

Don't forget Wilhelm scream (though that's more of an in joke at this point) and that one eagle screech.

>Like using the same fucking stock sound effect as everyone.

I fucking hate this. I don't know why it annoys me so much. It is as bad as using the same video clip from another movie and passing it off in your own movie. Of which I only know of one instance (one of the Transformers movies), but holy fuck nearly all movies have the same sound sources it seems like sometimes.

There's another scream too a woman scream that is repeated in like everything. I've been hearing it for decades and only now just fucking found it online:

This is the fucking worst.
It's used EVERYWHERE
>>
These repeated sounds are used in just about all media I think. I've heard many of them in video games as far back as the original Doom 1 (door sounds for instance).

http://soundandthefoley.com/2013/07/22/doom-doors/

I think it originally comes from something far older because I think it is in some Star Trek episode when a life pod or cryotable thing opens/closes.

Sound and Foley are the worst represented aspects of film making. It is like they are taking a big shit right in your ear. The more a movie uses rehashed stock sounds the worst that movie is, imho.

Neat
>>
>>64647727
the thing is that door sound isn't the only sound from doom that's used everywhere. Many of the demon sounds are used in other places too.

I'm sure some of those sounds existed before doom but they don seem to be widespread until after doom
