these movies are simply beautiful, such a shame that the modern cinema-viewer can't appreciate such fine works of art but rather expects the same formulaic story all over again.

Prequels are great.
If he was going to do it all in CG then he should have waited another 5-10 years. The awful CG is what made his sick obsession with Jar Jar so repulsing.
Can Disney redo the OT with better CGI? Surely Lucasfilms still has all the greenscreen footage. Maybe they can update it to look absolutely amazing. We could change Jar Jar too, as he doesn't really physically interact with others and his voice/clumsiness can be changed without it affecting anything.

I'm pretty sure they can and I really hope they do. You still can't change all of George's cringey dialogue but updating the CG and re-editing the whole trilogy could potentially help a lot.
