Once and that was enough. That's not to imply I didn't like it, but I feel I got all that I was going to get out of it that one time.
After my seventh viewing, I realized that this movie really had nothing to offer. I fully intend to see the next two films and all of the anthology films, but maybe Disney will be swayed by the erudite reasoning of those such as myself. I am glad that the internet has reached a consensus about this film's lackluster presentation. This is truly a victory for the audience.

I think people lose interest in this movie because it features basically a whole new cast, and the old cast is kinda there to help the new cast take their place. Same thing happened with the OT, the difference being we didn't quite know who the old geezers like Yoda and Obi-Wan were. Truthfully, as long as they do Ep. VIII right, then VII will make more sense and be a lot better for me.

Debatable thing:
Kylo Ren was actually an interesting character until he took his mask off. That he's conflicted and trying and failing to live up to Vader is already conveyed without needing to reveal his face, which would have been a great reveal to save until his confrontation with Han because like Vader the mask leaves you to wonder what lies beneath and what the dark side has done to the person. You would think that's the one thing JJ would actually borrow from the OT.

Rey being a good fighter was ok, she has to survive in the waste. Rey being a pilot was not ok. Being a mechanic does not equal knowing how to operate a ship. Rey should have been terrible at shooting. The force thing is debatable. I'm on the camp that she was trained in the force before, so she was remembering how to use it, rather than learning for the first time.
