Pacific rim's characters were all boring and unmemorable with the exception of Charlie Day and Ron Perelman, and even then they barely salvaged that movie. GdT is a lame meme filmmaker

Everything had weight to it. It all felt substantial. The battles were packed with physics and care went into every CGI battle.
