I feel like Hot Fuzz is probably the better movie, but my list is still shaun > hott fuzz > pigshit > worlds end
I find The World's End much better than Shaun of the Dead, even though that's very good itself.
My list, unsurprisingly, goes: Hot Fuzz > The World's End > Shaun of the Dead.

It works way better than either of the duo's in the previous film. Pegg's character isn't just a fuck up he's straight up a bad dude. It's the best character dynamic in all of the films
Ya'll should re-watch The Worlds End, it's not the best film but you pick up on more things the second time round and I think it makes it equal to Shaun of the dead. The character arcs are by far the most interesting.

Hot Fuzz is a weaker version of the same ideas in a different setting and Worlds End is pleb tier spectacle nonsense that repeats and polishes the formula with no significant additions (yawn). Implying Pegg / Frosts characters in Shaun don't have an infinitely more interesting relationship purely because it's not of the type often explored, another teenage hero who's been left behind by the adult world... grand.

It added nothing to it except a device to make the two main characters at the end sacrifice for each other in the most typical life or death cinematic.
The pub sequences were much more character driven and 10x more entertaining than the forced action scenes.
They are all the same movie.
Set personalities deal with (x threat) taking over their town.
Just socket it any threat and rotate character personalities. Frost and Pegg use the same plot and do this. They have like 4 core persoanlities/characters that just get rotated around each movie.

Shaun was funny at first but because they play it all the time here on British TV I've grown sick of it and the zombie genre entirely.

Watching Shaun again recently was a real slap in the face because I realized Shaun's relationship with Ed mirrors mine with my college roommate/best friend. Love the guy but all we do is drink and play games/watch movies together. I think we hold each other back professionally/artistically but it's hard to move on.
That said, Hot Fuzz is best. Need to give World's End a second watch though.

Something about Hot Fuzz's fantasy aspect is just more palatable or even creative than Shaun of the Dead's (obv I'm talking about the small town secret society vs. le zombie takeover).
There are other things I prefer about HF as well, but zombies just seem less interesting, and the third act of HF allowed more clever and funny parts, I guess.

World's End is severely underrated though. I though that the metaphor of the film was a little too on the nose compared to the previous two movies, but apparently if anything it was understated with how many people don't get it.
