I watched the first episode, everyone who isn't playing a teenager is alright, though that is a very small minority. World looks pretty cool, but all the pretty people are trainwreck actors, especially the guys. It's like they purposely cast horrible male actors to make the women look better in comparison.

I look at it as a CW show. Everyone is so attractive but are generally shit actors. Crixus is a badass though. He will forever be a favourite of mine after Spartacus. Hopefully we get more into the Trolls and Dwarves after they finish up this season. More interested in those than the goto Humans and Elves.

That's what I was comparing it too, and it still fell below my expectations a bit. Though I do love Manu Bennett, great in Spartacus and a GOAT Deathstroke. I'll watch a few more episodes to see where it goes at least.

He's kind of stuck in a typecast sadly, along with the fact if this show does get picked up it will probably take up his whole schedule considering it's shot in NZ. There goes my hope of Slade coming back for some measure of vengeance instead a shitty cameo that was billed as a guest starring role last season on Arrow.

i like the part where Allanon used some fire magic and it literally burned his hand, i can't wait for more magic use in this show.
