why would you need a third party program to do what your pc does natively?
I use ps3 and the media server program, it's bare bones but I've been using it for years now and when I first started using it nothing else could reliably format video as well for my tv. that being said I've been having issues lately with one of the transcoding engines and the ps4 doesn't support mkv for some goddamn reason so I have to keep switching back and forth.
Is there a better/easier set up available now? I haven't looked around for a long time.
