I used to really love the show, but as the seasons went on, so did the flanderization of each character. It's like they took little things I loved about each character and made that character all about those things:
Charlie went from being a loveable dumb guy to a full blown retard who is only annoying now
Dennis turned into a complete psycho who loses his shit at everything.
They just aren't even being subtle with Mac and his gayness anymore. It used to be funny but now it's like beating a dead horse
Frank was fun to watch as he willingly wanted to go from a rich, successful businessman to a complete slob, yet they still keep writing him as being super wealthy so they can justify the gangs shenanigans
Dee's is still the focus of ridicule, so she didn't really change much.
Idk guys, the first 5 seasons were solid gold, and the following seasons began to be more hit and miss with each episode. Seasons 8-10 have been mostly misses, but with a couple of great fucking episodes sprinkled in.

I think the show is still good, but as far as I'm concerned there have always been a lot of missteps. As the show goes on the writing has become a lot more disjointed which is probably why the new episodes are so hit or miss. I thought the wade Boggs episode was fantastic
