Still better than diamonds are forever And brosnans last 2 flicks
Batista didn't talk
>I AM THE AUTHOR OF OLIVER PAYNE
I never really understand why he was bragging about writing a book the audience isn't even told about

i thought it was pretty good aside from the villains being terrible

Are you guys being sincere?
I thought the whole thing was unexciting and predictable.

Not them but the movie is homage to the old movies. You can almost smell Connery or Moore doing the exact same tricks as Craig.
I understood this while watching the ridiculous car/airplane duel. The movie's starting sequence is too cool for the rest of the movie.
Everything from when they arrive at IT WAS ME JAMES's compound is absolute dogshit.
The stuff before that was just a mediocre bore.
I actually think this was worse than Quantum.

Worst one in recent memory
The character assassination of Blofeld. Revealing him to be the sole cause for the sum of Bond's suffering over the past years sounds like it could be a great idea, but it was all so contrived and poorly communicated to the extent of being awful. It's too bad that a story arc which started out so strong in Skyfall turned out to be more or less dead on arrival.
>dull action scenes (car chase and plane scene in particular had zero impact, James didn't even seem to care)
>references above originality
>Belluci has literally 5 minutes of screentime
>Waltz is criminally underused
>retarted villain reveal that was supposed to be a twist, but everyone already expected it
>villain with absolutely ridiculous motivation
>movie doesn't explain exactly how Blofeld was behind the deaths of Bond's loved ones
>Bond girl loves him after knowing him for 2 days
>same old technology vs human agents theme that we already saw in Skyfall
>Bond barely breaks a sweat during his escape after getting drilled in the brain
>unmemorable third act
The acting was good, particularly Craig, the movie itself looked beautiful and they mostly succeeded with humor. It's not completely shit, but a major disappointment.
>craig
>bond
What went right:
>beautiful cinematography
>great humor
>good action
>everyone delivered a good performance
What went wrong:
>forgettable third act
>Blofeld was very underused
>the Blofeldis kinda Bond's brotherplot twist was dumb and unnecessary
It was alright. Nowhere near as good as Casino Royale or Skyfall but much better than Quantum of Solace.
Daniel Craig is an awful actor.

It had all the elements of a Bond film, in fact the whole time was "I have seen this before". Maybe its getting old. A reboot that would keep Bond within the Era the books take place, kinda U.N.C.L.E like might be nice.
It looked like a video clip or a car commercial.
MI6 gets destroyed again, not that the building is in service or anything, the ruins themselves are flattened. Why we need to revisit this place I have no idea, neither does the director

> a pretty-looking movie, I'll give it that.
> had some nice callbacks to the older movies.
-
> convoluted origin story after Casino Royale was stupid.
> convoluted Blofeld reveal was stupid
> Soundtrack sounded too identical to Skyfall
Personally, I would've preferred a Quantum vs Spectre scenario.
Spectre as a whole was trying way too hard to ride the coattails of Skyfall's success. It's a damn shame, Spectre could've been something really unique and far more memorable.

Visually, everything. It was a good looking film, sounded great too. Only criticism to sound would be the theme by Sam Smith, weakest bond theme in years.
Character wise, Waltz was so criminally underused. His whole motivation of "muh daddy loved you more" was fucking weak and more of a throw away line than a true driving reason behind everything that's happened to Bond.
Bautista was bretty gud though, think he played the big dangerous henchman role perfectly, would have liked to see him return if the creators are returning to the old bond movie style.
