Problem is that it stopped right when characters were starting to get good and interesting.
Shit, even Travis had some pretty cool moments in the Terra Prime arc, just when the writers remembered he actually exists.
I know there has been the same dynamics in the other series, but Archer T'Pol and Tripp got most of the focus, leaving the rest of the cast behind.

Very late reply, but: Chronologically, it goes TNG - DS9 - Voyager, but there is some overlap. Most that overlap doesn't make a whole lot of difference in the series though. There are a few crossover episodes, and from time to time events from one of the other series will be mentioned. It helps when starting Voyager to have seen DS9, because then you'll know who the maquis are, and you'll appreciate the scene in Voyager's first episode with Harry and Quark a lot more.
Ignore everyone shitting on any specific series. It's all worth watching. I personally think Voyager is the weakest entry into Trek series, but I still watch it from time to time, and enjoy it every time. Just watch it all for yourself, and make up your own mind.
