i -just- woke up (worked overnight), and guess who had a dream set in the same episode. i dreamt the vulcan monks made everyone from enterprise a feast since we all got off the ship and were eating in the grassy hills outside the monastery, the snow having melted. there was workout equipment which everyone was happy about instead of being cooped up in the ship. the portions were tiny but delicious, and when i got a plat with some creamy taco things and a bowl of spinach soup, t'pol expressed interest in the soup as in "is that spinach soup" so i gave it to her instead of the other guys crowding around me and she ate it while the other crewmen and i shared the taco stuff.... i dreamt i shared food with t'pol. her interest in the soup was also in character for her. as in shes emotional about something but covers it up with a sort of blase politeness. pretty cute.

TOS has it's fair share of clunky episodes too, just off the top of my head you got shit like Miri to slog through, but even the bad episodes still had that magic Kirk-Spock-McCoy dynamic to play off of. The best stuff in voyager is all Doctor - Seven centric, and they weren't really even important characters in terms of ship operations.
