God, Wonder Woman was insufferable.
I was very confused by Snyder's choice to have Diana personally straggle fifteen Palestinian children to death with her bare hands. It seemed out of place with everything else that was going on in the movie.

Does anyone else think they went too far with Bruce Wayne? It seemed like Snyder was super excited to have his own Batman that he half-forgot that the character would need to be compatible in a greater universe. Torturing and brutalizing criminals doesnt align with the hero that the likes of Superman or Flash would look up to or call friend. Their symbolic handshake at the end felt a little forced especially with all the animosity they displayed.
That said, this new Batman looks like he will absolutely shine in a solo film. The little hints of Jason Todds murder in the prolonged dream sequence, and his emotional terror at re-viewing his son's death were greatly effective and Affleck really dived into the depth of the character. This Batman seems a lot more emotional than any other movie incarnation, really reminds me of All-Star Batman & Robin.
We'll have to wait to see how interacts with the fully formed League. By the way, the Darkseid setups were kind of lame. Wonder Woman felt like an exposition machine. Here to stop the fight, here to reveal Luthor, here to tell the future, here to tell them about Darkseid. Hopefully her movie fleshes her out more instead of only using her to flesh out the universe.
