Hey /tv/, I fucking hate how everyone is obsessed with Star Wars. I went to see the movie in the cinema and I wanted to share the story.

>buy ticket for the new Star Wars movie
>some cute chick next to me buying tickets as well
>stare for like 3 seconds at her and move on
>take a seat
>movie begins
>STAR WARS
>everybody starts clapping

>all the fags keep clapping to every fucking part of the movie
>can't hear shit
>get really pissed
>about to get up when suddenly the security walks up to me
>apparently they thought the chick was with me
>they punch me in the liver several times and escort me out while yelling something about a no singles policy
>they take me to the cinema showers
>spray me with cold water for 5 minutes
>kick me in the rib cage 20 times
>they handcuff me and drag me out of the cinema
>step on a pressure plate
>suddenly a bunch of anvils land on my hand and crack my skull
>everybody laughs at me
>crawl to the staff for help
>they want a tip
>tip them 5000$
>they call an ambulance
>wait for 50 minutes for it to arrive
>they take me to the hospital

Man, I feel so lucky that no one clapped in my theater and I live in a populated area outside Chicago.
In fact, many got up and left immediately after Rey awkwardly handed Luke his old missing lightsaber, which should've stayed missing.

Usually it's a natural Human response when someone else claps or laughs, you have the urge to do the same.
It's also can be nostalgia and modern day quips (basically what Marvel succeeds in and slipped into TFA).
Quick fast paced action covers up any holes or flaws in the movie, thereby assuring that the average movie goer will just have a good time, while stuffing their face with $8 popcorn.

I went at noon on opening day.
Including me and my gf, there were only 13 people in the theater.
Only time I've seen it deader was when we went to see Edge Of Tomorrow and there was only one other person in the theater.
