Is he a Replicant? Also if you have any stills/artwork from the movie you should post it.
>>64464772
Depends which version of the film you watch.
Got a shit phone.
>>64465300
Is it worth visiting? wiki says you can't get past the first landing.
He is definitely a replicant according to the final cut
Otherwise its just speculation
>>64465443
You can't, but it's still worth a visit. Shit is nice.
>>64464772
>any stills
I got you senpai

>>64465573
Marry me.
>>64465881
y-you too
Well since he's coming back for a sequel he can't be
>>64466427
Who what now?
>>64464772
here you go
>>64466570
They're making a sequel to Blade Runner, Harrison Ford is confirmed to star in it. So no matter what the slight ambiguity at the end of the film will be ended as the sequel will confirm one way or the other. Though I don't see how he can be one given the 4yr life span they've got
Is Blade Runner the most visually stunning film ever made?
>>64466973
>making another sequel to a movie that doesn't need or warrant one.
just fucking burn hollywood down jesus
>>64467206
They've said they want to make it a franchise with 3-4 more films
>>64467268
Who owns it?
>>64467206
Costs to much to push and market a new idea to people. They demand quality so it everything good gets a spin off to save the risk of flopping. Maybe they are punishing us for piracy I don't know.
I prefer to think of Deckard as not being a replicant.
Because otherwise Roy's sacrifice feels hollow.
they will not stop until they have made a sequel to every Ford movie and he is shown die in each one of them
>>64467396
Ridley Scott is the one pushing for it
>>64466973
Deckard wasn't a Nexus 6, he was a 7 or a prototype, like Rachel. Tyrell even calls her a prototype and states that the implantation of memories gives them the emotional buffer they need. This would remove the need for a lifespan fail-safe. Or fail-deadly. Whatever.
>>64467639
>It's too bad she won't live! But then again, who does?
>>64467721
Meaning other Blade Runners will track her down, meaning Deckard needs to run with her.
>>64467639
Considering how shitty earth looks in blade runner, I wouldn't be surprised if everyone left on earth is a replicant of sorts.
I saw the theatrical cul the other dayfunny how a voice over can COMPLETELY ruin a film
>>64467463
What sacrifice?
All memes aside, why did the robot nazi strip down and run about in his fucking underwear? Why did the girl do multiple consecutive flips instead of just keep hitting han solo?
>>64467853
Meaning everyone dies. Replicants, humans.
Replicants are angry at their creator because of their short-life span... just like humans.
Artificial Intelligence also came with the same existential problems humans face.
>>64468692
It's a vastly visual film. I think Scott just wanted it to look interesting.
And I'm sure there is some other deeper reason, at least to naked-Roy, but I still think it's mostly for the visuals.
>>64468692
They were at the end of their life span and their bodies and minds were failing already.
>>64468813
If our creator had a corporeal form, lived much longer than us, and was much weaker... would we wreck their shit in anger?
>>64465573
Been looking for a good collection. You the best, Anon.
>>64466570
I would like to see this as a wallpaper.
This is my current wallpaper.
>>64464772
I have this one family.
Also no, he's not a replicant, works better that way.
Got a few from a /hr/ thread a few months ago
>>64470745
another one
>>64470837
I wanted to get the ones from imdbpro
Its funny, I was really disappointed in Blade Runner story wise because it was so shallow compared to its source material, but I've eased up on it. It really is visually stunning.
