It is a crass indictment of humanity that it is possible for something this bad to be made by a person. That it is hailed as a masterpiece by so many is perhaps the strongest evidence against democracy by the people
Anne Hathaway's speech about love made this 6/10 straight down to a 3

I agree with this but at the same time I kind of wish I didn't. Everyone watches movies but 1/100 has anything close to taste. It's painful.

>6/10
that high?
>>64447291
this is what star trek should have been, not the pants on head retarded flicks that j.j. released.
This is better than 2001 tbqh with you familia
Wow you guys are so cool, I wish I could dislike something that other people think is good, but sadly I have already lost my virginity and I suppose there's no going back....
>>64447291
i liked it op
>>64447291
>crass indictment of humanity
>i know big words
What was so bad about it OP? I thought it was an emotionally compelling movie that made me feel something. Its not perfect, but its a p good way to spend a couple hours.
>>64447291
the soundtrack was by far the best part
>>64447291
If the allegedly underlying political conclusion you may draw from a rounded and in-your-face fantasy film prevents you from enjoying it, then is perhaps the strongest evidence against your intelligence.
>>64448451
i dont understand... so... losing your virginity means not having your own opinions and following the rest of the flock of sheep? how does that work?
ITT: Turn off your brain bro! It's fun.
>>64448853
the ending is the only dumb part
>>64447291
I'm really surprised anyone likes this flick
Besides some decent visuals and an alright score it was laughable
Also TARS was cool
>>64448805
>a virgin
>>64448880
whats so bad about it
i ondly didnt like the whole love thing
>>64448989
I thought the whole thing was boring as shit after they left Earth, and there seemed to be no real thematic direction behind what was happening. Nolan seemed to get that movies like 2001 and Contact were big because of how they handled the non-space stuff but doesn't seem to have understood further than that, so he made a boring generic space adventure and threw in a couple of retarded speeches about love and humanity and thought he had absolut kinography when in reality he had an ersatz Mission to Mars.

In this post: Rationalize every banal act! Draw real-life equivalents on every work of fiction! It's smart!

I don't know what those words mean when put together in that way.
