Theory is she has prior training in the force and has had her mind wiped/locked, possibly for her own protection. Kylo messing around with her head unlocked some of that training, which is why she was able to use telekinesis to grab the lightsaber, use the mind trick, more easily tap into the force when fighting with the lightsaber, and know how to resist Kylo probing into her mind further. One of the big things supporting this is her pilot helmet on Jakku says "Raeh", which means she possibly took her name off it.

But it is possible she did learn mind raping (which is very different from mind tricks) off of Kylo doing it though since unless she was previously taught by somebody pretty dark/evil, she wouldn't know how to do that beforehand.

No, that is a supposition. You must decide whether it's a case of using a force technique (mind reading) or taking advantage of someone using that technique on you. As I said, this is not Harry Potter. Since when can untrained plebs resist and then infiltrate the mind of a force user looking into hers?
