Die Hard is a nearly perfect movie.
The only thing that ever bothers me when watching it is that the whole act the terrorist puts on to fool black cop when he first visits is that he's watching a Notre Dame football game on Christmas Eve at night on the west coast. It's such a jarring "Wait, what the hell?" moment that it actively takes me out of the movie.

it really feels like an Indiana Jones movie, it does have some silly kiddie stuff but also interesting visual gags and scenes that couldn't be made in live action, or at least it would be really hard too. There's actually guns, shootings, punches and the captain guy can't stop drinking so it's never too kiddie, I felt it was balanced in that regard

yeah that was the reason I didn't watch it when it was on theaters but if you get past it you will find a really fun movie
also I reallized only the main characters, or maybe just Tintin, is the one who looks /off/ the most, because he's the main character and has to be handsome/realistic looking one, so is the one deeper in the uncanny valley. The other characters look way more stylized and cartoony, yeah they have small creepy eyes but as a whole they look like cartoons so it easier on you to accept them
