I would play it safe and get in line now.

you should have already set up your camp this morning. you'll probably be in the very front left now. enjoy your neck cramps.

I camped out for 3 weeks for the premier of TFA, and I still got crappy seating. I would get in line ASAP.
I saw a midday screening the day it came out here in Australia. I would say the theatre was about 1/3rd full. Getting a decent seat was no problem.
How about you reserve a seat in advance you god damn American

I don't get this, I live in a third world shit hole (panama) and even we get numbered seats to avoid this crap...

Just stand outside the theater and stare at the people going by the entrance for a couple of hours. It'll be a far better experience.

We have that here as well but it's only really in effect when the cinema is full. Which is almost never.
And even when it is in effect most people just ignore it because they're bastards.

can't you just reserve a seat or buy a ticket in advance? i don't get it.

Move somewhere else.
I saw it last Sunday at 10 and I was one of 4 people in the theater
I've been waiting in line for three days to see it next Friday at 2 pm.

Why. I rarely ever go to the cinema and like I said it never happens. I honestly can't remember the last time it's been full enough to require seating numbers.
When I saw TFA the ticket seller asked us which seat we wanted but the cinema was less than half full so we just sat where we wanted anyway.

An hour before or maybe even earlier
