When he sends his forces to the planet to recover the droid, they fail once again which makes him throw a tantrum. It's the overall failure of achieving his goal, rather than him being specifically mad about some random girl escaping the planet
Up until that point there's zero reason to give a single fuck about Rey, it's not even hinted at that he even knows who she is. In that scene all he learns is that he got ahold of the droid and escaped after taking down the TIE fighters he sent after them.

It bothered me too but since we like to complain so much about retreaded plots scenes, Star Wars hasn't done this yet. Every other Jedi and Sith had to spend a lot of time training to learn what they did,I'm thinking she is going to become something much bigger than just a Jedi. The only scene where she was actually in full control was that light saber duel at the end, and it was proven that she knows how to fight already, the other scenes I think it was just the force taking over. Even when she pulled off the mind trick it didnt work until her third or fourth attempt, So I think the force just did it for her.

Characters learn lessons from previous failures. They learn from conflict. It's a simple SW movie, but it can't even do a simple character arc right. Where in ANH Luke had to struggle with seeing his adoptive parents be killed and losing his home, then losing his mentor and finally learning to trust the Force in order to get the seemingly impossible shot into the Death Star, Rey has none of these conflicts in the entire movie. Let's just remember what actually happens

It was already foreshadowed in an earlier scene that she was force sensitive. It's fairly logical to assume that she unwillingly tapped into her raw potential when kylo was attempting to extract the map from her memories. There is absolutely nothing beyond that, it's clear as water that she only manifested her force powers in that scene because of her own self conviction and untapped potential
