Most of the older team from ILM either left or burned bridges as they left because of it. Most interesting part of that making of is the editor talking about George "directing in the editing room" and it shows a scene of george essentially wanting to matte out an actor so he could resync him on a different timecode than what the rest of the scene takes place on, which leads to the editor saying in a muted way "george is overcomplicated this shit"
