Didn't care for it. The shots were kinda meh, as was the editing. He knew what he wanted from the actors, but not so much from the camera I guess.
started watching then dropped, it's shit, but it's a good contrast with the hollywood from back then and the one from now where an extreme ideology really has infected the industry.

Trumbo was blacklisted for good reason, and he's lucky he got off as easily as he did. McCarthyism was only bad when it was wrong, and contrary to what the new age revisio-leftist pseudo-intellectual university elite would have you believe, it rightly named many actual Communists in this country.
