wow this was awful. not even terrible, it was just unspectacular and underwhelming. not a single important character was convincing at all, action was boring. did anyone actually want to MAKE this movie? it feels like everyone working on it just wanted to get done with it and leave
what went wrong? craig-bond done? how to fix bond?
Its the first bond movie ive seen in 10+ years and its probably put me off them for good.
Craig is terrible and his bottom lip is fucking gigantic

>bottom lip is fucking gigantic
Im dying of laughter

so goddamn average
there just wasn't anything clever about it from the action to the villain
>longest bond film
>most expensive bond film
what a waste
Every Bond has one good film in their run, for Craig that was Casino Royale, for Brosnan it was GoldenEye, etc etc.
But Spectre was pretty severely terrible in most every respect, and I can see why Craig said he'd slit his own wrists before ever considering doing another one.
Time to pass the torch, Dan.

Spectre went back to Bond's campy roots
Underwhelming. The action was great as always but the plot was a bit all over the place. You'd think bringing back Blofeld, and revealing him to be "the author of all Bond's pain" would be a fool-proof idea, since he's such an iconic villain, but it was poorly executed. You can't just mishandle an iconic character like that - that's probably the biggest blight on this movie.

>bottom right pic with the octopus
I'll admit it, I laughed.

issue is that the craigs bond is settled in a way too realistic universe to make that work. spectre might try to quote past campy moments but it becomes stupid as long as everything still tries to be somewhat down to earth and feels ridiculous once it gets into conflict with scenes of bond trying and succeeding to shoot down a helicopter from a far distance with his pistol or letting the whole villains secret base blow up by shooting the fuse box. also there is no big evil plan, no dangerous super weapon, the bad guys plans were unspectular as fuck and didnt feel threatening at all. blofeld having like 5 minutes of screentime surely didnt help there either
Casino Royale and QoS were Craig's best films.
Skyfall was shit except for the intro I guess. and plot was fucked up.Spectre was shit and even worse than Skyfall.
>but QoS was worse
No, it was not a standalone film. You have to see CR and then QoS to enjoy it in my opinion. Also, Mr. White was a far better villain than Blofeld and Quantum had this menacing aspect that Spectre could not reproduce.
>Spectre: I am evil, look at me. I am super evil and I did everything.
>Quantum: Group of influential politicians and such
attempting to manipulate politics and resources.
I prefer the latter.
>craig
>bond
I'd kill for a behind the scenes look at the writing process and the filmmakers desire to make Bond & Blofeld step brothers.
Why did they feel it was necessary, what does it add to the mythos etc etc.
Watching those shit flinging retards try to explain it would be endlessly entertaining.
