This show has a high score on imdb, but after having watched a few episodes, I'm kind of confused. Does it ever get more interesting than "lol she looooooves getting fucked by black guys. so progressive xdddd" or what?

That's the problem with these "[X streaming service] original series" shows. Way too much filler. I actually think Jessica Jones has a very interesting premise and I like a lot of what I've seen, but it's slow and dull. The medium spoils the message.

Yes. I didn't really like the few few episodes, either, but it gets more interesting when the show decides to start telling a story.
Daredevil was still better, though. It tried to tell an interesting crime story, and managed to balance out smaller arcs about Matt helping neighborhood people (which was supposed to be the point of these shows). Jessica Jones basically dedicates it's whole season to telling the story of someone trying to deal with/get over an abusive relationship. It's okay as it is, but a different focus would have made for a better show.
