This. His presence alone made the character likeable when he was on screen. It would have been cool if he served a primary antagonist role throughout all 3 prequels. Get rid of Maul and Grievous and have Dooku/Tyrannus do their part. Him killing Qui-gon would have more meaning since he was his master.
