I go on opening weekend on Sunday morning at 10am and I basically have the screen to myself. Literally the only exception to this has been Star Wars. Even Marvel movies don't attract people to Sunday morning showings.

I used to work at a movie theater, but I could honestly give less than a shit if people snuck in food, as long as they pick up after themselves it's fine by me.
People would bring in beer, wine bottles, chick-fil-a, McDonalds, etc. We'd occasionally see people who are really bad at hiding food, and we're SUPPOSED to, by the handbook to go tell them to dispose of the food or eat it in the lobby. But nobody I worked with enforced that so everyone was real nice to us otherwise.
