It's unfortunate that there is no ultimate edition blu Ray for each film that lets us optimize certain features from each version of each film for viewing.
There's certain things I like from various release of each film in the OT.
For example in a new hope, I like Han Shot First and there being no Jabba scene, but I enjoy the improved opening score and CGI edits to the Death Star battle.

Would Disney even redo the prequels? They stated that the prequels were an important pillar in Star Wars history, and Clone Wars as well. Since TCW is so heavily connected to the prequels, and then their own Rebels so heavily connected to TCW, wouldn't it just be a domino effect that's not worth their time?
