it was enjoyable
I liked it. It was nice seeing him do a smaller movie again. Also, he seems like a total bro.

Cubano sandwiches were mouth watering.
It didn't capture the heat and how disgustingly full you feel from working in a food truck, even when you don't eat anything.
>>64273120
Food trucks are for faggots
i was pleasantly surprised, mildly amusing. warm. family film with some bretty good cooking montages
>cuban sandwich
>look up what it is
>just a plain ham+cheese sandwich
that's it? I must be missing something here
>>64273120
Where was the scene where in full chefs outfit, he goes to the local farmers market to peruse and purchase the very best ingredients for his customers?
>>64273331
This is wrong.
Everyone, this is an example of a retard. Please make a note of it.
>>64273328
They have to glamour the whole thing up man
>>64273403
Yeah man, you're missing how it's actually toasted in a specially-built sandwich press!
It sucked. There was no plot. Literally nothing bad happened to him.
comfy as fuck
>>64273472
lol how about the time where he dropped from the position of a head chef in a gourment restaurant to a food trucker you turbofaggot
>>64273403
Well, I mean, most sandwiches aren't all that different. It's also ham and roasted pork, not just ham.
>El Jefe will never come to your town
>>64273523
That's bad for like one second. And then all of a sudden he's in touch with his chef origins and his son loves him again.

fucking love this scene
>>64273120
Kind of like an R rated Ratatouille.
>>64273557
rediscovering the joy of simple cooking and bonding with his son is still a journey for the character
>>64273403
Try one when you get the chance. Cubans are fucking delicious.
Nice heartwarming story done right, with lots of food porn.
Super comfy movie that I proudly own.

>>64273120
I liked it.
The scene with the Mexicans and beer was great.

>Philly cheesesteak
>look up what it is
>just a plain beef+cheese sandwich
that's it? I must be missing something here
It seemed like the worst point in his life professionally and personally lasted for 5 weeks then everything resolved itself. I would have taken Scarlett over Sofia personally
I don't know. Maybe not
>>64273685
A real Philly cheesesteak isn't just meat and cheese.

can't watch this movie without getting hungry
Its was a really good feel good film, and some great food porn in there too, i loved it.
I hate the word, but it's a really "comfy" movie. It's a fun and heartwarming little flick, even if it isn't anything innovative or overtly original about it.
God damn does it make me hungry. I've been to the restaurant they go to when they visit the grandfather character, and I'll be fucking damned if it isn't one of the best fucking places I've ever been in my life.
It's halfway across the country though, so I may never have the opportunity to have one of their cubanos again for years if at all. The suffering is real.
>>64273751
And a real Cuban isn't just ham and cheese. Do you get the joke now?
guy fieri:origins
Comfy and made me hungry.
