Probably. Reynolds did do a pretty good (I would even say great) Carzy Deadpool-esque movie before: The Voices. It's not meme though. At all. It's a dark comedy done right. It's also very disturbing. In a good way.
But people who would like that kind of movie usually hate Ryan, and Ryan fans would hate it (if they saw it).
Fuck, that guy can be a really good actor when he has the material and a director who knows how to direct him.
