The deadliest, bloodiest, and most entertaining game of Clue ever played.

Samuel L. Jackson and Walton Goggins were fucking fantastic. All of the performances were GREAT, but those two were the standouts for me.

Quentin Tarantino has once again created an all around well-made film. The writing is great. The dialogue is top-notch. The cast is freaken awesome. The performances are amazing. The action is absolutely brutal. And the visuals are incredible. Wether you like Tarantino's films or not; you can't say he doesn't know what he's doing.

The Hateful Eightis a bloody good time with some very memorable characters.

What did you think of it ?

Samuel L. Jackson and Walter Goggins were great, but Jennifer Jason Leigh was clearly the standout and the only one that really deserves an oscar recognition

dingus, tatum, shitty narration, muh 70mm were all downsides

acting and writing was good to great, plot was super weak

Has Tarantino ever made a positive non-stereotypical Hispanic character? He seems to be all about "muh empowered black character" but the one Hispanic guy in the movie was treated like scum even by the blacks in the movie.

Made me feel like Tarantino is just a cuck for blacks.

Unlike most of /v/, I am actually a huger Tarantino fan. Anyways I thought Hateful 8 was his 2nd worst movie behind Death Proof. It was nothing but a long winded dialogue heavy film that reuses alot of lines from his other movies. I will say that Walter Goggins and Kurt Russel had by far the best performance in the movie. I don't get everyone's love for Jennifer Jason Leigh, I thought she was ok but kinda hammed it up a bit too much.

Daily reminder that /tv/ loves Carpenter's The Thing, but somehow hates Tarentino's re-imagining.

>The Thing (1982) was the only film that Quentin Tarantino showed to the cast.

>According to Quentin Tarantino, the two main influences on the film were The Thing (1982) and Reservoir Dogs (1992).

>The Hateful Eight (2015), according to Quentin Tarantino, was his metaphoric way of breaking down his feelings about The Thing (1982), i.e. the way he felt watching it for the first time in a movie theater.

>Tarantino has said that some of the Ennio Morricone's compositions for The Hateful Eight are the unused scores for John Carpenter's The Thing (1982)

Two plot holes that I want answered

1) How did English Pete have the execution details that the Sheriff asked for when they arrived?

2) John Ruth never talked about the Lincoln letter inside of the haberdashery until English Pete brought it up first.

Scenes that were cut, or just fuck ups on Tarantino's part.

Just saw it yesterday i cant believe autists here were shitposting about it, it was great. Was it simply because of the blowjob thing? You realize he made it up to humiliate the guy because simply telling him he killed his son didnt get him to attack him.

>Maybe they really do have 15 men waiting at the town.

I was hoping there was going to be a crazy finale shootout with those people at the end
>>

even if they did have 15 men in town it doesnt matter, both jackson and crowder were bleeding out and werent going to survive the night, much less wait for the blizzard to pass and the daylong journey into town

Roth was originally going to play Landa in Basterds but was busy elsewhere.
>>
>>64242410
I only meant that if they had the 15 men actually in town, it would likely mean they got their hands on the actual execution orders.

Also how the fuck did they get all the blood from the killings out of the wood floor? That shit soaks in and there was guaranteed to be a lot. But that's not entirely unexplainable just not very plausible.

>The deadliest, bloodiest, and most entertaining game of Clue ever played.
This the most in depth description I've heard about this movie. Not even lying.

It's like no one ever tells you what movies are about anymore. Trailers are basically
>slow roll across landscape
>here's a famous actor!
>he said something funny!
>gunshots!
>climactic scene of someone in danger
>snap to black
>fade in
>badass one liner
>movie title

I honestly have no idea what the plot is other than the above quote. Sam Jackson is a faggot whom I don't respect so there's that.

I still might torrent it.

Literally had the same line as schultz in django
>>
>>64242364
The problem is, as a white guy with a small cold dingus, I have absolutely no chance competing against a big black warm dingus. Just zero, 0%, nada, and all the women in the theater knew it. It was utterly embarrassing.

Even worst, as I went to the washroom at intermission, another white guy stood by the urinal on my right and waved out a massive 3-incher flaccid. He then stood on right foot in attempt to intimidate me. So this film, Tarantino's madness, has got us white men fighting amongst ourselves. It won't end well, that's for sure.

Finally a thread.

What took you so long /tv/?

The line was around the block at my theater that was showing the 70mm version. One of my friends dragged and we ended up getting there like 20 minutes before the movie.

The four of us had to split up in twos and me my buddy got great seats in the back.

I gotta say the whole first half I was kind of perplexing at first but boy does it lead into the pay off which is the entirety of the second half.

The pacing was great and it really made things tense for when shit did go down.

Really fucking loved this movie. Can't believe the same bitch who played Nancy Botwins sister on Weeds was Daisy Domergue.

Also based Kurt Russell.
