The only explanation of Rey defeating Kylo is that she was trained and most likely by Luke and then memory blocked. Except any source that isn't childish writing says exactly the opposite. The Jedi abhor the dark side, but not because it's some weak misuse of the Force. The dark side is careless and destructive, but it is passionate and powerful. The reason the Light side is used by Jedi and can sometimes one-up the darkside is because it allow for careful, calm, rational planning.
I don't know why Kylo is so weak, but I feel like he should have become a lot stronger when hekilled Han

Every movie so far has suggested that there is no duality concept and that the dark side is a result of abusing the Force. So, what sources of non-childish writing are you talking about and how exactly are they canon?
