I'm not a huge fan of the prequels (Star Wars and Empire Strikes Back are my favorites), but I can safely say that the Prequels have the best sound editing and design out of all 7 movies.
I remember that bomb charge in theaters and thinking "wow". The sounds in Revenge of the Sith were particularly good.

For me the original will always be called Star Wars. I still have my VHS, the original laser disc and my Harmy set. I loved the Empire Strikes Back too. I started growing out of that world with Return of the Jedi, but can still appreciate Jedi, the prequels and Awakens for what they are.

I watched Phantom Menace when I was like 13 and I thought he was funny. I think that was his intended purpose.

Honestly, this whole scene shits on everything from TFA. I saw the prequels once as they were released and have just been going with "they're shit" cause that's what my fellow anons tell me to think. But after watching TFA I think I'm gonna go back and see what someone with a tiny bit more talent than JewJew Abrahim can do with Star Wars.

The Darth Bane trilogy is really good. Also, if you want a more plausible story about Han and Leias son turning to the Dark Side, Legacy of the Force series. The New Jedi Order series is tiring but has a few good stories. The Thrawn Trilogy is pretty good, too, if a little dry. A lot of the Clone Wars era stiff is good too. And Death Star is pretty Damn good, too.
